Background of ISOT

The Islamic Society of Tracy (Imam Bukhari Masjid) was originally established in February of 2000. The ISOT rented a facility located at 503 W Larch Road in the City of Tracy for almost eleven years from 2000 to 2011. With the help of Allah SWT, in 2008, due to the lack capacity of the rental facility, the ISOT acquired a property located at 350 N Corral Hollow Road in Tracy, California. The construction of the building and parking lot were completed in 2010 and 2011 respectively. The masjid has been in use since July of 2011.

Muslim brothers and sister of this area as well as other parts of US helped us financially to complete construction of the masjid and parking lot.

The ISOT has accepted and will accept unconditional assistance of other Islamic organizations, Muslim brothers, and Muslim sisters, to cover the cost of day-to-day expenses of this masjid which runs almost $6000 per month.
